For those who have asked: On a personal level, I am happiest at home, spending time with my family and friends. I also make every effort to focus on and put the positives in each and every day. I live and share the simple, wholesome, everyday things of life with those I love and who love me. I am especially happy and fulfilled with my career and work in education. My interests outside of home, work and education include reading, gardening, music, oil painting, health & fitness and martial arts.
I am very thankful to have a close circle of friends, family & colleagues who are just great human beings -- genuinely caring, concerned and helpful individuals who have enriched my life in every positive way. I wish this kind of love, positive concern and happiness on everyone -- and I certainly wish the world had more of these kind of people.

I do want to make it clear here that I do not intend to reply, respond or use my web pages as some sort of “chat-board/gossip-forum”, with those of the past, or the present. -- I am much too content and busy in the present to do that. I am also highly critical, skeptical and leery of what is well known today as "tabloid journalism" and the so-called "internet journalist", prevalent in many tabloid newspapers and on many less reputable internet sites. -- As is well known, these "anonymous sources" are often erroneous in content and information, certainly highly-biased and usually representative of an agitated vocal minority with an extremely negative, mis-representative view.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed your classes. I took your Contemporary Theory class this semester because I liked your Classical Theory class in the Fall so much. It’s really refreshing to take classes from a Professor who takes the time to work with students individually; and who also listens to the class as a group to make lectures and projects more interactive.
I particularly liked the group presentations because they gave us an opportunity to not only learn the material, but “teach” our peers; which can make the learning process less mundane on a day to day basis. I think the presentations are a great way to learn concepts on a deeper level beyond simply reading material only in text books or taking notes in a lecture every single day for 4 months- which a lot of other professors do. I think “mixing it up” is a good way to keep students engaged, and I appreciate that you understand that.
In short - I really appreciate your dedication to your classes and your methods for taking something as dry as theory and actually making it interesting- and dare I say – fun!
